Many regions of the United States have played an important role in the development of aviation, but only a few have a museum dedicated to preserving their aviation heritage. Northern California is rich in aviation history and the Hiller Aviation Museum presents its important contributions. With over forty aircraft, thirty power plants and the world’s largest helicopter air show, the Hiller Aviation Museum is a world-class venue.
The Museum was founded by Stanley Hiller, Jr. Mr. Hiller was one of the pioneers in helicopter development and manufacturing, having founded the Hiller Helicopter Corporation at the age of 19.
