Peruvian Airways - bought 50% interest on 16 September 1928
West Indian Aerial Express - acquired on 22 December 1928
Compania Mexicana de Aviacion (CMA) - purchased on 23 January 1929
Pan American - Grace Airways (PANAGRA) - founded on 25 January 1929
Sociedad Colombo-Alemana de Transportes Aereos (SCADTA) - acquired controlling interest on 15 February 1930
New York, Rio and Buenos Aires Line (NYRBA) - absorbed on 15 September 1930
Panair do Brasil (originally NYRBA do Brasil) - bought on 15 September 1930
Pacific Alaska Airways - founded on 29 April 1931
Boston-Maine Airways - began contract flight operations on 31 July 1931
Aerovias Centrales, S.A. - founded on 26 February 1932
Uraba, Medellin and Central Airways - bought controlling interest on 13 April 1932
Compania Nacional Cubana de Aviacion (Cubana)- bought on 6 May 1932
Alaskan Airways - bought in 1932
Pacific International Airways - bought in 1932
Servicios Aviacion de Guatemala - bought on 21 June 1933
China National Airways Corporation (CNAC) - bought 45% interest on 7 July 1933
Panama Airways - bought on 7 November 1933
Alaska Southern Airways - bought on 13 November 1934
Aerovias de Guatemala - bought 40% on 10 October 1940
Aeronaves de Mexico - bought 40% interest on 18 December 1940
Bahamas Airways - bought 45% interest on 10 December 1943
